For the Enjoy 70X, Huawei focused on aesthetics and quality of workmanship. Lake Green and Spruce Blue color variants bring a fresh and modern look, while Snow White and Obsidian Black will appeal to fans of classic design. The back of the phone is inspired by the premium Mate series, giving the device a touch of luxury.

The Enjoy 70X is equipped with a 6,78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1224×2700 pixels, which offers vivid colors and sharp images. The 120 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth browsing and gaming, while the maximum brightness of 1200 nits allows for comfortable use even in direct sunlight. Thanks to the high-frequency PWM dimming at 2160 Hz, it is also easy on the eyes during prolonged use.

Performance and hardware

The heart of the device is the Kirin 8000A chipset, which has six cores: three powerful Cortex-A77 cores with a frequency of up to 2,19 GHz and three economical Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 1,4 GHz. Graphics performance is provided by GPU Mali-G610. This combination promises smooth operation of the HarmonyOS 4.2 system and sufficient performance for both common and more demanding tasks.

On the back, there is a dual camera with a main 50MP sensor, which should provide quality photos in various lighting conditions. The second 2MP sensor is probably used for depth detection in portrait shots. The front 8MP camera is located in the display aperture and is ready for selfies and video calls.

The Enjoy 70X is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 6100 mAh, which should ensure a long battery life on a single charge. Support for fast charging with a power of 40 W will enable quick replenishment of energy, which will be appreciated by users with an active lifestyle.

The device runs on the latest version of HarmonyOS 4.2, which brings an improved user interface and new features for a better user experience. Huawei continues to develop its ecosystem, which offers integration with other brand devices and a wide range of applications available in the AppGallery.

Availability and price

Huawei plans to start pre-sales of the Enjoy 70X on January 3, with official sales expected to follow in the following days. The price has not been officially announced yet, but it is expected to be competitive in the mid-range segment, which could attract a wide range of customers.

The Huawei Enjoy 70X appears to be an attractive choice for those looking for a balanced smartphone with a modern design, quality display and solid performance. Thanks to four color variants and inspiration from the premium Mate series, it can appeal to both younger and more conservative users. With the launch date approaching, it will be interesting to see how this model fares against other brands in the mid-range segment.
